My name's Mike Bibby, this is my portfolio of programming, audio, video, computer hardware, and technical skills.
1. "Hallow33n" is designed to be enjoyable by virtually anyone, on virtually any device or browser. I designed & developed it with Dan Martz (AKA "BoopyShoes") in Python, featuring Angela Bachman's conventional medium artwork. I wrote & recorded all the music & sound FX (with help from Mandy Martz and OhCurtains.)
2. "Pivot Point Alpha" is a SteamVR (Valve, HTC, & Pico headsets) puzzle experiment written in C++ and BluePrints using Unreal4, made with help from YouTuber @ReidsChannel, as a demo of my ability to juggle bleeding edge graphics engines, VR hardware, and use the strengths of VR to allow users to see patterns in larger 'flocks' of algorithmically animated objects. Video here:
3. I co-wrote code (in Lua for Pico8), assisted with design & dev, and wrote the music & sound FX for "Rob Them Blind" https://ohcurtains.itch.io/rob-them-blind
4. I co-wrote code in C# using MonoGame and co-designed "Overcommitted" https://ohcurtains.itch.io/overcommitted
5. I composed & recorded music & sound FX for "Justin Time" https://pandepic.itch.io/justin-time
6. Here's a VR event featuring custom mods & my live guitar at RedLineVR:
7. Home-made budget LED stage running on a custom-build Lenovo server also running VR at the same time:
8. Green screen VR live composite with live chat:
Wednesday, March 29th (2023) was my largest scale VR event to date; HP hired me to setup & mod Beat Saber for 5,000 person party, running 4 digital movie theater projectors to 12' tall screens (so locking the cameras was vital) & a PA system.
I've also been a full-time music teacher (ukulele, guitar, piano, music theory & tech) since 2002, as well as a professional live audio & recording engineer.
DM me if you're interested in private lessons or you're hiring.
